Whichever 2008 2009 GMC Sierra pickup configuration is right for you, your
truck also will come standard with a four-speed automatic transmission,
Quadrasteer four-wheel steering, and a 26-gallon fuel tank. As you can
see, the Sierra takes driving seriously.
The Sierra takes design seriously, too. Though each truck has
differing exterior features, some of the standard exterior Sierra parts
on every truck include: power-folding rearview mirrors, halogen fog
lamps, black molded pickup bed protectors, and a lockable, outside
spare tire carrier. Interior features are more common among 2008 2009 GMC
Sierra trucks, and consist of amenities such as:
- Tri-zone air conditioning
- Custom cloth reclining bucket seats
- Graphite colored rubberized vinyl floor covering
- 80-watt audio system
There are other Sierra accessories, too, including bed liners, grill guards,
and hardtop canopies. Over the next few months, we plan to
provide information about all of these Sierra parts, so be
sure to stay tuned.
In the meantime, however, here's something you'll be glad to know: the
2008 2009 GMC Sierra pickup is safe. Standard Sierra safety features
include:
- Steel-reinforced side crumple zones
- Dual front airbags for the driver and front passenger
- Passenger-side air bag that can be disabled when carrying
children.
- Four-wheel antilock braking system
- Audible warning chimes that alert drivers of a failure or
malfunction
If these GMC Sierra features aren't enough to put your mind
at ease, the truck also boasts Autotrac, the first automatic
4-Wheel Drive system ever available on a full-size pickup,
which automatically transfers power to the front axle to help
reduce rear-wheel slip and restore optimum traction. For more
information about this feature, remember that we offer more
Sierra specs than any other site on the Internet. We hope
to see you back again soon!
